E36 REINFORCED REAR SUBFRAME EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Although not as bad as the E30 subframe, the E36 rear subframe does have some of the same weaknesses. Filthy subframes with ripped or weak sway bar mounting locations are a pretty common issue (even in the E46 world). A must-have if you are using stiffer rear sway bars. We take these subframes, check them for straightness, sandblast them, weld rear tab reinforcement, then powder-coat it. Simply send us your straight and undamaged E36 subframe, get a reinforced rear subframe back (with your choice of color for powder-coat). Its as "bolt up" as it gets! These are a must for tracked E36 vehicles.

This is a core exchange program. Send us back your STRAIGHT core and we will refund you $200. Providing us your core is the best way to ensure it is identical to what is on your car. While E36 subframes are all functionally the same fit there are minor differences in routing tabs, exhaust hanger pick up points etc across models that we do not differentiate between.

All of the subframes we stock will work across the model cars that are listed here, but if we are not re-working your subframe expect that there may be some minor differences between what you receive and what is on your car.

How long does the modification take?

If we have them in stock, we will ship them the day you place your order. However it could take up to 4-6 weeks (depending on core availability) before your item ships. If you have a time constraint please contact us first or send us your core for re-work. When you receive your subframe and install it, you can then ship your old straight, undamaged, subframe back. If you choose to send your core in we will give you back the $200 core charge. Once we receive your core we refund you within 7-10 days using the method you paid with.

CORES MUST BE RETURNED IN 30 DAYS FOR A REFUND. ALL CORES RETURNED AFTER 30 DAYS ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE FOR STORE CREDIT NO EXCEPTIONS. ALL CORES MUST BE IN OEM UN MODIFIED CONDITION, WE DO NOT ACCEPT PREVIOUSLY MODIFIED COMPONENTS FOR CORE. SERIOUS RUST ISSUES, MAJOR CRACKS, OR BENT SUBFRAMES ARE ALSO NOT ACCEPTED AS A CORE. SOME MINOR CRACKING MAY BE ACCEPTABLE PLEASE CONTACT US WITH PHOTOS FIRST.
